Just signed up with LunarPages to move my hw.com site. I'd been hosting with SBC and man, they're just id-juts. They remind me of the auto companies in the 70s, trying to deny that the Europeans and Japanese were eating their lunch.
Example: They only respond to email once a day, so if you ask a question and they respond, but they didn't answer your question, you have to wait another day to get a followup. (Unless you want to sit on hold...) Example: They currently supported Python 1.5.2. You may be asking yourself... isn't the current version in the "2's" somewhere. And the answer is, "Why, yes it is. In fact, Python 1.5.2 was released back when there wasn't a '2' in the year." They have no plans to upgrade. Example: For $450 a year, you get.... ONE MySQL database. Example: Aw, hell, you're bored already, I won't go on. LP offers unlimited databases, 60x more bandwidth, 200x more storage, and up-to-date software, for about 40% of the price. I'm just all-a-tingly getting ready to move my site over. Beats working.
