I saw your comment about "Basic", so let us just agree to call it "RB". ;)
RB is strong typed and you can initialize it on the same line <RB Code> dim lReturn AS Boolean = False dim cSettings AS String = "" </RB Code> My #1 enemy in VFP is myself. I end up trying to add a string and a number together.
