"it is six times as efficient and produces one-tenth the pollution, all while achieving the same performance and acceleration"
dream on - I just don't trust their figures - why are their vehicle efficiency figures better than three times the opposition, *and* their well-to-wheel figures better than two times? And gas extraction, pumping, gas turbine (presumed) efficiency loss, electrical tranformer/ transmission/ transformer losses give an overall 52.5% efficiency? - I would take a lot of convincing, and that's well-to-battery-charger. Then their mileage is quoted as 110 Wh/km - I assume that's watt-hours/kilometer: say 0.177 kw-h/mile - at 60mph that's 10.6kw/hour - say 14 horsepower, not exactly earth shaking! I'll say it again <sigh> an electric (battery) car has *got* to be less efficient and therefore more polluting than one that runs on the fuel you use to generate the electricity to charge the batteries, and that's before you factor in the energy cost of lugging the batteries around - not my opinion, the laws of physics.
