A friend of my lovely significant other's computer was taking 15-20
minutes to boot up. She was asking me about what kind of computer she
should by to replace hers.

I checked hers out and found that it was running a decent processor at
2gHz but that she was also running XP in about 112mBytes.

I had her order a gig of memory, installed it for her and she's a VERY
happy camper now.

I've never had any problem with Firefox per se. There have been
occasions when it locked up waiting for a non-responsive website
though. I suspect IE would have locked up too.

(Nothing in this email is an April Fools Joke) :-)
