Seems like the thing to do would be to get your mortgage company to play
hardball with the vendors, in other words, no completeee, no payee...

We still haven't figured out how we're going to get to the end of our house
building project yet. The overruns are quite crippling, and we're still
interviewing contractors. I hope it works out.
