That's not the point. Knowing them they took a picture then copied and pasted it into word and didn't give a thought to file sizes. Users expect Magic at all times!! I swear they look at the computer and expect data to flow from their brains and into the database without touching a thing!
All I'm asking, is there a programmatic way of running the "Word Image Compression utility." I could then issue commands to do this as part of the routine for importing the word document, thus making sure my table get updated with the smallest word file possible.
