I've been looking for a weekend job for months, I hear the same thing. Dumbing-down the resume/job history doesn't help - hard to cover up 20+ years of technical experience.
My 18-year old daughter is getting callbacks; I can't even get Starbucks to talk with me. I have worked on hotel front-desk systems, but even they think I'll get bored quickly. It's not about 'being bored' or 'overqualified' - its about being able to pay your bills! If that isn't motivation enough... One more year before my son starts school, then the wife will go back to work at least part-time... -----Original Message----- From: Virgil Bierschwale [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Yeah, if you lie on your resume. One look at any of us and these are their exact words because I've heard them thousands of times these last few years.. "You'll never stay, so I can't hire you" -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of MB Software Solutions $5k per year?!
