I've seen many like that over the last 30 years...

Some that I have seen obviously had not even been verified accurate from the
day that they were designed because it would have taken too long.

I have to laugh....I went to work for a small company back in 2002 and 
they had reports that produced wrong numbers.  Their justification to me 
was "yeah, but the reports run REALLY fast!"  My response: "yeah, but 
it's still WRONG!"   I couldn't believe they were trying to sell/justify 
that to me!  lol!
