For those working with PocketPCs here is something to think about in regards to upgrading to Vista.
ActiveSync is not compatible, Microsoft has a new program for sync'ing the devices "Windows Mobile Device Center" http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/devicecenter.mspx If you are developing, and work with the emulator, you'll need to upgrade the manager.
