I served in the US Air Force for 4 years as a clerk. One year of service was in Vietnam, (eg Apr 67 to Apr 68), I was then a member of the National Guard; although, the Nation Guard never called me back up. I'm now a vet with foreign war experience.
I think that close enough to being a member of a well regulated Militia, even though I don't think the 2nd Amemdment to the Constitution hinges on the requirement of being a member of a well regulated Militia.
