Its not that they are being duped.
Its that people have a natural tendency to do "empire building", whether it
be at work, or elsewhere and when they do that they surround themselves with
like minded people, typically "yes men".

That's why I would much rather see organizations or groups made up of people
that don't necessarily see eye to eye, BUT they agree on the final
destination

I don't think its legal to overthrow the US Constitutional form of 
government by any means, if its against the wishes of the American 
people.  As Bill Arnold would say, the American people have and are 
being duped.  Overthrow of the American government by other mean such as 
treachery and deceit should also be illegal.
