The first part is something like

Ieobj = createobject("InternetExplorer.Application")
Ieobj.Navigate2("www.website.com/webpage.htm")
Ieobj.visioble = .T.

If you want to download a file however it can be done.
www.ukfug.org.uk/foxbox.htm and look at the updater article

Subject: VFP9 autodownload

Someone once helped me with a neat routine so that my client can click
a button in my app and take you straight to a specified website.

This has really helped me where I want the client to do an update to
my application.
I want to take this a step further.
The web page has (say) 5 files they can choose from.
So, to eliminate downloading the wrong file,

can I get the client to click inside the app which will:

1 Jump them to the correct website
2 AND locate the specified file
3 AND begin the download process
without any user intervention/clicking requirement

Sytze
