If Dr. Lori K. Fenton (PhD in Planetary Science) , can learn how the 
**seasonal patterns of winds and atmospheric water, dust, and CO_2 * 
*interact on Mars to produce climate changes, then she may be able to 
understand enough to explain what is happen now on Earth.  Meanwhile, 
the search for a solution goes on.

*My scientific interests on Mars include aeolian geomorphology, recent 
(and current) climate changes, and the mobility of wind-blown sand and 
dust. Mars has very distinct seasonal patterns of winds and atmospheric 
water, dust, and CO_2 content. I would like to better understand how 
these cycles interact with each other to produce the current martian 
climate, and how aeolian features on the surface record ancient climatic 
conditions. Here are brief descriptions of my current projects on which
