Unfortunately I do and I've considered erasing it and putting xp on it. EVERYTIME I try and run a program that's not Microsoft, both monitors go dim and you get a message asking you if you want to allow this program to run.
Unfortunately there is no checkbox that means "don't ask me again" -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of William Sanders / EFG Sent: Monday, May 07, 2007 9:28 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Visual FoxPro on Vista Hi John . There are major issues for deploying apps in/to Vista. Luckily, the documentation is being released RSN for 'what to do'. In the meantime - You'll have to write up a manifest that does something with UAC and raising the level of elevation. Virgil doesn't have any problems running the VFP 9 IDE on Vista cause his instance o Vista is run solely at the admin level, tweaked to 'everything allowed' so he doesn't see much of the security crap that most users will see.
