I've been trying to say this for years, but I keep failing to get my
point across. Everyone should be style chameleons, not nazi style
enforcers. I don't care if I work with 10 guys and their 10 different
coding styles. I will let all team members have their own style. The
10 swearing guys mentioned above need to loosen up.

I will not force my "style" on others and therefore no one should
force their style on me. Those people are style nazis.

The only things I think are important are functional things.  Create a
UDF instead of a cryptic formula - or even a simple one. Use mdots to
prevent FoxPro from getting confused and to prevent painful debugging.
Add comments that have meaning. Add documentation for how all methods
should be used just like you'd document a UDF. Don't make big
procedure libraries or classlibs so it is easier to share and use
source control without the difficulties involved in merging. These
things should be corporate standards, not something like whitespace.
"Good" whitespace is in the eye of the beholder - and is therefore
impossible to dictate.
