Not true at all. I'm not religious, but I learned the difference between right and wrong when I was a child. I learned from my parents beating me when I did wrong and I learned from my mistakes when I did something stupid that resulted in me getting hurt.
I've always felt that dr. spock was the beginning of the end of society. If you don't have somebody, whether it be the preacher, the teacher or the parent that mentors young people, then they have no reason to grow up and do right, instead of wrong.
