Actually, its probably taking 15 seconds on the sql server box, but the
additional time may be the time it takes to get from the workstation to the
sql server box over the network.

        SQL Server is so fast that relativity kicks in, and time is thus  
slowed down. So while it may seem like 42 seconds to you, internally  
only 15 seconds have passed.
