I see 2000 Pro as a more viable OS to get on a gray market when XP is no longer available through MS, whether used for Virtual or physical PCs. It is just as stable as XP, takes a smaller footprint, and does not have the same level of "protection" against piracy as XP has. Were I to need to install some VPC processes I would pick Win2k over XP any time, as it requires far less RAM for the guest VPC to run. If I am running multiple VPC sessions that could be quite important. Funny hting, it just does not get the respect it deserves any longer <g> - seems the world has been so focused on XP vs Vista (vs Mac, vs Linux, vs Vista, vd son-of-Vista).
