How do you start a cmd window as administrator ? I verified my account and I'm supposedly an administrator..
Pretty damn bad when you're an administrator and you can't even administrate your own computer Virgil Bierschwale http://www.bierschwalesolutions.com http://www.jobsforourfuture.com/index.php -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Tracy Pearson Sent: Thursday, May 17, 2007 8:43 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [NF] 40 million Vista sales! Yup, I saved a file to the downloads folder, then started a CMD window as Administrator and copied it with no UAC complaining at me. -----Original Message----- From: Virgil Bierschwale Sent: Thursday, May 17, 2007 9:29 AM I copied a file from my laptop and sent it via email to my vista ultimate desktop this morning. Then I went to save it in the qcharts directory so that I wouldn't have to reenter all my trades. It said" you do not have the rights to save in this directory, please choose another" If I had time, I think xp would be on the desktop real quick.
