Yep....good idea...but as of this AM, I rewrote it to simply SCAN the 
view for the dirty buffer records, did a SEEK to find the matching 
record in the table, then did a GATHER to collect the changes.....all 
(now) wrapped in a transaction.  Not sure why I didn't wrap it in a 
transaction anyway years ago, but its a moot point now.
