First, I hate taxes. I hate income taxes. I think income taxes are far too high. I used to hate the graduated income tax structure and thought it grossly unfair. However, in the past few years, I've grown to see the wisdom in it. The less you make, the more % of your income you are forced to spend on necessities(not all necessities are really sales tax exempt, either). The richer you get, the % of your income you have to spend on food, housing(it's optional to buy a mansion), etc. is less. Graduated income tax structure helps compensate for this fact and makes sure that the rich person that makes more pays closer to their fair/equal %-based share(overall) as the poorer person. -- Derek _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
