You might try "xyplorer". It's free, portable, you can save file settings to a template, etc. Pretty good. You don't get a search locations list but you can have an excluded folders list, with that and subfolder searching you'd be near of what you ask for. Besides searching you have tons of other pluses like tabs, locked tabs, favorites, global renaming directory and directory reports (to csv too), and many other stuff.
