Create a Windows printer, use the 'Generic/Text only' driver, and point it to the com port. You can then do a set printer to command in VFP and use "???" and "SET DEVICE TO PRINTER" and use @SAY's to do formatted printing to the printer. This is used as the raw method of printing to receipt printers. If your printer is a receipt printer, there's also an object-oriented "oPOS" object likely available, however we don't have that as we still have legacy printing code and last we checked printing was slower using the object. -- Derek _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
