I rankle when anyone starts throwing the "anti-semite" spear at me because I am aware of what you say, and I know that there are huge debates in Israel over support for that invasion and the whole belligerence thing. What's incomprehensible is that debates which occur all the time in Israel are not occurring here. I attribute that to "soldiers of Israel" owning/controlling/influencing our major media outlets (the few that are left after Congress approved further consolidation) being even more powerful then anyone imagined. You'd think people would start to see through it at some point, but no, they turn on the same "news" every night. Look at Fox's ratings, and Murdoch is right in there with the most belligerent of Israelis. Here's an article originally from the LA Times that talks about what happens if you criticize Israel in the American press http://www.commondreams.org/views06/0901-22.htm As for the opposition, I'm with them, but they've been completely ineffective. Given the dire circumstances, that is inexcusable.
