You have to take into account a crucial fact: that all of that money is going *somewhere*, it's not just disappearing.
The war money is going into the pockets of the MI complex. Big Oil is choking on their profits. Bankers are lining their pockets with interest money. All that money stolen and misappropriated - it went into someone's pockets. All of this is at the expense of social security for the baby boomers coming up - which will be met with "sorry, there's no money for that", and health care, of which tens of millions of people have none. That's not to mention so many other good uses for money that will wind up with nothing or a pittance. It's just unbelievable - except it's actually happening.
