No, he is not. Hell, I'd give a couple of teeth to sing as well (or  
in my case, to be able to carry a tune at all).

I have been in many opera houses from world-class to second-tier  
(like our own Minnesota Opera), to definitely third-tier. The last  
are still good, and any tenor I have heard in them could out-sing  
this guy.

Unlike pop music, where all you need is a passable voice, a pretty  
face and big rack (or shoulders depending on gender), there is a huge  
gulf between excellent opera singers and the professionals. This is  
kind of like pro golf or baseball. There are 1,000's of excellent  
players rooting around in training leagues and tournaments that just  
don't have what it takes to be among the elite.
