Leland, I believe that OT has been slowly sinking over a long period of time at the hand of two hecklers and their bombardments. We (I, anyway) tried filters, but it doesn't work because it leaves them unchallenged and they only feed on that.
Since a total of 1 person voted on whether to continue or shut down discussion on the most important subject of our times, I have to conclude that either apathy rules or nobody is listening. In any case, what I see is that further discussion here on the subject of the war is, for now anyway, just a waste of time. Attitudes will change when things get worse, but I do wonder if then people will listen to reason or react blindly out of fear. I feel we did the very best we could to uncover the root causes of this war, and with that information we can see the obvious solution: the removal of Big Money from the election process and replacing all of those lackeys with competent people who really care about America and the world around us. It's still not too late, but we are very much in a race between doing that and suffering further at the hand of the interests that duped us into war. I really don't know what the future holds, but if our little OT group is any kind of indicator, things aren't looking good. -------------- I'm going to turn all of my attention to work for now. My business has definitely suffered from precious time and attention diverted, and I'm probably on 'black lists' to boot. I do stand by every word I've said, and have no regrets.
