If you keep it plugged in, plug it into a UPS, pull the battery and you won't wear down the battery. Different batteries: Nickel-Cadmium, Lithium-Ion and Metal Hydride, have different characteristics on what's the best way to treat them. NiCad benefit from a full discharge and recharge every once in a while. The Lithium batteries will get killed with that kind of treatment: a regular but shallow discharge keeps them in top shape. Figure out what kind of battery you have, consult your manuals and do a bit of research. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
