The New Testament is a written record/history of Jesus' life, teachings, and times. It is subject to interpretation, like everything , and each interpretation will be colored by individual experiences, environments, and psyche. Christianity of every color, size, and shape is based on the New Testament, so saying "The New Testament IS the Catholic Church" is like saying the "New Testament IS the Catholic Church the same as it is in every Christian church. There, how do you like my interpretation of what you said. <g>
