I am trying to load up a new computer, and need to have VFP6, VFP7 and VFP9
on it as well as a few other little things (like Office, 2 versions.NET,
etc...).

However I am unable to install VFP 6 via Visual Studio. It wants to update
the Java VM or something like that, then reboot.... Then when it comes back
it wants to update the Java VM and reboot.... Until I give up and click
cancel. VFP6 is not a separate download at MSDN, and I haven't been able
to lay my hands on a standalone copy; all I can find is Visual Studio.

There is a VFP98 directory on the CD, I could try to copy that over to a VFP
directory and run the Runtime installer from prolib.de In theory that
should work, but would that keep me from runing the SP5 installer? The app
I need VFP6 for is being rewritten in .NET, but it's a BIG app and will take
a while to get fully converted.

Lou
