LBJ was not a neocon. PNAC came long after Johnson Presidency. President Johnson brought the great society to America, advancement in civil rights, and an escalation of the Vietnam war. The Vietnam War was not about protecting Israel, WMD, Terrorism, ME oil, or spreading Democracy. The Vietnam War was about stopping the spread of Communism. Still, I could draw a number of parallels between Johnson's Presidency and the presidency of the "Decider"; King George. <g>
