Ed

MyMethod is not protected.  Is ShowData a variable ?  It is the name of 
the (child) form - perhaps you are right in that if a method in the 
parent is DO'ing the child (modeless) form, then it is a scoping problem.

I am thinking about Tracy's reply and its implications ...
