Thumbing through my med-school textbook I see that the cholesterol cause of 
blood vessel disease is called a "hypothesis". The popular press is where it 
got to be dogmatic fact.

You can have some bacon if you like. Play it safe and don't eat the whole 
package at a lick, the hypothesis *could* be correct, but only Al Gore knows 
for sure.
