Just the opposite for me. I have two email accounts set up in
Thunderbird and I haven't had a single incident. I am using 2.0.0.6. I
have abandoned Outlook completely. Max CPU lockups, slow IMAP
performance, timeouts when I go into it to get an email address or
anything. It takes 5 minutes to open up! It is totally unusable. I
researched the problem and tried every solution I could find. I was
using 2003 and my wife uses 2007 and is experiencing the same thing only
not as bad.
