Unions are just as corrupt as many businsesses and politicians, so looking to 
them is foolish as well.  Workers get some benefit but the union leaders get a 
lot more.  Like I said, the most reliable helping hand is at the end of your 
own arm.

If you are waiting for society to lift the poor, keep on waiting.  It doesn't 
work.  In the US we had a war on poverty.  Poverty won.  What Micheal said 
about anyone here can become successful... and success is not always definded 
by dollars, the same should be true everywhere.

If you are waiting for a collective answer to your situation, get the idea 
through your head that hardly anyone in power cares enough or is capable enough 
to solve your problems.  If you live in a banana republic like the one run by 
Chavez, who is enriching himself while the people suffer... perhaps revolution 
is the answer.  But even there, complaining will not get the job done, only 
taking action will.

I understand it's hard to see the big picture if you are always concerned about 
where your next meal will be coming from, but if that is all you think about... 
your next meal is all you will get.
