The other option is for you to buy the parts yourself and get under the
hood and do it yourself.  I never liked it when they would charge me so
much to change the air filter on the car. I mean how hard can that be?
Well, the last time I tried on the Honda it was PITA to get the cover
off that now it is just easier to tell a mechanic to do it. The
automakers have made it harder to fix some of the simple things like
light bulbs.  I was at a Jiffy Lube last year and it took 3 guys to get
the old bulb out!  Anyway, enough of my rant...  The bottom line is if
you have the time or the money.  And it seems the rich get richer by
making the money work for them.  Some are just in the right place at the
right time like the guy that caught the Bonds HR ball and sold it for
$750K!
