Not Thailand but China and is one of the reasons that I will go out of my
way to make sure that I don't buy anything made there. That isn't easy these
days.

Yes, you are probably right. Whereas the lucky people of Thailand are
lucky enough to get their children to work for Nike for 30 cents an hour
to make those inexpensive trainers you use.
