Joe, Take a look at some of the C# and VB.NET projects at www.CodeProject.com. Do a search for ICMP. There are many small snippets of code which relate to what you want to do.
Many of the examples are on the projects own pages but to download any source code you will need to register which is free of charge I'm just stowed out with work here at the moment and have a real backlog as well as some comms stuff I need to post for other members of the group who are waiting or I'd have a look myself Also I found this C Code: http://www.sockets.com/ms_icmp.c http://www.sockets.com/ms_icmp.h That maybe of help Dave Crozier -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Joe Yoder Sent: 24 September 2007 21:38 To: [email protected] Subject: re: Pinging from VFP suggestions? Dave, I got the code and am in the process of trying to understand it. I have determined that the request size is set to zero in the routine that calls IcmpSendEcho so will need to modify it if I am to vary packet size. Can someone point me to the help file I will need to work with the capabilities of ICMP?
