I have successfully put one of the files supplied by Fred Langa with great success where the Computer Operator has been unable to get to grips with Windows Cleanup etc. You can schedule them to run at start-up or shutdown.
They can be tweaked to avoid deleting log files etc. http://www.langa.com/cleanup_bat.htm There is a lot of useful stuff on the site and there is a free subscription to the list.
