Once again, "wasted" is a short-sighted argument. 1. There hasn't been a single attack on US soil since 911.
2. Thousands and thousands of Al Qaeda have been killed in Iraq. 3. Saddam Hussein and his sons are gone forever. 4. 100,000 Iraqis a year who were dying as a result of torture and genocide under Saddam Hussein are continuing to live. 5. We have a base of operation in case we have to invade Iran. 6. Libya gave up their nuclear program because they feared an Iraq-style invasion. 7. Money was spent on weapons, engineering, computer services, etc, so it isn't like the billions spent on Iraq had no positive effect here, much more positive than giving the money to deadbeat welfare cows who would continue to pump out welfare calves. 8. What is the price for freedom? How much were the people killed on 9/11 worth? 9. The economy absorbed a tremendous hit after 911. The stock market dropped 800 points, a million people lost their job. If it weren't for the huge tax cuts, this country may have gone into depression.
