Oh come now Larry! Where's your Christian charity, misspelling my name. > > I guess they didn't teach you about the scriptural canon and the doctrines of > inspiration, > preservation and the like. Beyond that, if you profess to be a Catholic, >making the claim that the Pope could be wrong, particularly when he is >speaking from the chair, > throws that claim into question. Didn't you read that I said "he is not talking about doctrine"? So he is obviously not "speaking from the chair". > If you can show your study of the scripture has the same depth and breadth > as the Pope, > I would then entertain your contention that the Pope is wrong. Oh he knows a lot more than I do about doctrine, but my point is Paul is not talking about doctrine. I guess you are now about 3 inches.... thick I mean. > > Now then, if you are going to say that you are capable of knowing which parts > of the Bible > can be believed and which parts cannot, with that less than adequate study, >I would say you are on shaky ground. You may have thrown out the wrong parts. And once again, read my post. I'm not deciding which parts of the bible to throw away. I'm just saying that Paul's letter was just that, a letter, he was not talking about doctrine. Is my English so bad that I can not convey this? Or do you get so obfuscated every time someone disagrees with you over religion that you are not capable of listening to exactly what he is saying? You are having a very non Christian attitude with all that hatred and lack of love for your fellow human beings. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
