        It isn't about sheer numbers; it's about the overall security  
design. Example: people were surprised when news of a trojan that  
attacked OS X machines was reported earlier this year. Windows  
fanbois were falling over themselves to loudly trumpet that OS X was  
just as vulnerable as Windows. Of course, it turned out that the only  
way someone could get attacked was to deliberately launch an unknown  
executable program, and then enter their admin password when  
prompted. That's hardly what I would call insecure.
