The absolute first thing they should bring back would be the paddling inside schools. When the physical discipline threat went away, the kids got a free pass for misbehavior, imo. A teacher really cracked me one time in high school, and I could have probably got him in trouble for it...but I deserved it....I was a smart ass making a jerk out of him and he put an end to it quick. I don't begrudge him for doing what he probably should have done...I would have if I were him. Today, the Berkeley logic of student rights in a non-dictatorship school authority system rules....and see how our schools have become. Put the discipline back in the schools first...and then see what an improvement it would probably make across the landscape. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
