Maybe you didn't read that this is a brand new laptop with Vista 
pre-installed on it.  There is no XP driver except for one that is on a 
Chinese web site and it was corrupted when I downloaded it.  Ubuntu, 
however, supported it upon install.

Saying there is something wrong with me as a user was not helpful either.
