Ah, but what you are asking is something they are incapable of doing. If they
have more money coming in... they will just find more ways to waste it to buy
votes... and in the process, spend a little more than comes in, thereby
increasing the national debt. This is why increasing revenue is never a good
idea.
What you say makes sense to normal persons, but not those breathing the air
inside the beltway. I think we should have the EPA check it out. I saw Ed
thinks the price of gas is enriching the oil companies... and in some ways it's
true, but nothing like it's enriching the government - the people who are
supposed to be looking out for us.
