You can live in that kind of fear or take steps where at least you have a
chance. Some of us don't care for the victim roll. Beyond that it's not just
about one guy. If he can take out the perp, the perp won't be victimizing
anyone else. Forget his rights, he gave them up when he decided to commit a
crime.
