When an overseas customer buys direct from us, our server sends an order to our warehouse, where a gal in jeans and a Packer's t-shirt puts a book in a box, prints out a UPS label, and then puts it into the UPS pile that they grab when they (UPS) picks up at 2 pm every day. Then that box gets individually sent overseas. Amazon owns a 747 that they send to Heathrow every evening, stuffed to the gills with all sorts of goodies. And once a month they send a boat overseas to stock Amazon.co.uk.
