I'm not Whil, but as an author of five of his books - Yes. It does not matter 
if they are in a
bookstore or on his Web site.

Not to rehash things again, but the books are targeted at a specialized market. 
By definition of a
niche, you will only sell to the targeted market. So why not directly target 
the market and cut out
the middleman (book stores). Heck, buying it through Amazon if you live in the 
USA is goofy in my
opinion. I would rather give 100% of the revenue directly to Whil so he can 
share it with the
authors and editors, than for Amazon to take a cut and send Whil a little more 
than his costs. I
would rather see the authors get a couple of bucks a book, than zero. Simple 
economics. I want there
to be incentive for publishers to publish books. 

I personally would never think of going to a book store to get a book on VFP. I 
would just "call"
Whil or Rainer and have them send it to me. Anyone who has been in this 
community knows there are
only two serious publishers of FoxPro books.
