On reconsideration, I would agree that that's the point of twit-filters. I admit that back then, I didn't have rules set up. Today, I do. So I would concede that yes, with the help of filters, any list could survive, provided that members are smart enough to not get pulled into crappy discussions that do nothing more than waste time and don't contribute anything positive towards their day.
