We tried, but couldn't. My wife found out she was still registered for the party she DIDN'T want, because she forgot to change her registration, and I found out that being registered as Independent in New York DOES NOT mean you get to vote whichever party you want. So I couldn't vote at all. Two fine examples of Civic Darwinism.
